Tom Hardy stars as Walker, a battle-worn detective navigating the dangerous criminal underworld threatening to consume his city in Havoc, an explosive action thriller from acclaimed director Gareth Evans (The Raid, Gangs of London). In the aftermath of a botched drug deal, Walker becomes entangled with multiple dangerous factions—including a vengeful crime syndicate, a corrupt politician, and his fellow officers.
As Walker tries to rescue the estranged son of a politician, whose involvement in the deal threatens to expose a labyrinth of corruption and conspiracy, he is forced to confront his past and the demons that have long haunted him.
Written and directed by Evans, Havoc features a star-studded cast alongside Hardy, including Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.
The film’s production team includes producers Ed Talfan, Gareth Evans, Aram Tertzakian, and Tom Hardy. The high-octane visual style is crafted by director of photography Matt Flannery, with music by Aria Prayogi and editing by Sara Jones and Matt Platts-Mills. Action editor and stunt coordinator Jude Poyer brings the film’s intense action sequences to life, while Tom Pearce handles production design and Siân Jenkins oversees costume design.
Havoc will be available for streaming on Netflix starting April 25, 2025.
