March 28 will mark the release of “The Life List,” a new drama on Netflix, directed by Adam Brooks. The film stars Sofia Carson and is based on the bestselling novel by Lori Nelson Spielman.

In the film, Carson portrays Alex Rose, a woman who embarks on a journey to fulfill her late mother’s childhood bucket list. The quest not only unravels long-hidden family secrets but also brings Alex face-to-face with unexpected romance and, ultimately, a renewed sense of self.

The official logline reads: “When Alex Rose’s mother sends her on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list, it takes her on a journey that will make you both laugh and cry as she uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and discovers herself along the way.”

In an interview, Sofia Carson shared her personal connection to the film, saying, “Alex takes us through this journey of loss with tears in her eyes, a smile on her face, and wit on her lips as she learns to live again. More than anything, I hope you watch this film and feel awakened to life again.”

The supporting cast includes Kyle Allen, José Zúñiga, Sebastian de Souza, and Connie Britton.

Carson’s most recent project, Carry-On, a Netflix thriller, has broken streaming records, becoming the third most-viewed film in the platform’s history with 160 million global views since its December premiere.
