Lionsgate is set to unleash “Shadow of the Wolf” on Digital and VOD on March 25, bringing a fresh wave of werewolf suspense to audiences hungry for supernatural thrills.
Starring Highlander’s Christopher Lambert and The World Is Not Enough’s Maria Grazia Cucinotta, the film also features Raniero Monaco Di Lapio, Marianna Di Martino, Elisabetta De Vito, Fabrizio Vona, and Massimiliano Vado in key roles.
The gripping storyline follows Nico, who returns to his small hometown to say his final goodbyes to his dying mother. However, his homecoming is far from peaceful. As a string of brutal murders shakes the town, local authorities suspect the presence of a mysterious and monstrous killer—one far more terrifying than anything they’ve faced before. Nico begins to experience strange, savage transformations and uncovers a horrifying family secret that could explain the vicious killings.
Directed by Alberto Gelpi and penned by Alessandro Riccardi, the Italian film first premiered in 2018, but its haunting story is set to captivate audiences with its impending digital release.
