The highly anticipated Russian horror film The Demoness is set to captivate audiences with its chilling premise, blending supernatural terror and psychological tension. The film revolves around an ancient spirit that takes on a human form, feeding on fear and bringing out the darkest impulses in those it encounters.
In the plot, an idyllic island retreat—designed as a sensual getaway for couples seeking to rekindle their passion—becomes a nightmare for one couple. Stacy and her boyfriend arrive expecting a carefree escape, only to have their erotic weekend interrupted by a malevolent entity that thrives on their pain and suffering.
Directed by Serik Beyseu (Project Gemini) and penned by screenwriters Dmitriy Zhigalov and Oleg Kurochkin (both of Project Gemini), The Demoness promises an unnerving blend of psychological horror and dark drama.
The film features a talented cast, including Angelina Pakhomova, Victor Mikhaylov, Anton Rival, Polina Davydova, Paulina Vrublevska, Pierre Bourel, Nino Ninidze, Arthur Beschastny, Ksenia Pikalova, and Vasiliy Evseev.
The Demoness will be available digitally on February 11 from Well Go USA, with a Blu-ray and DVD release slated for May 27, exclusively through Amazon.
