Directed by Feras Alfuqaha, Lifeline is an intense psychological thriller that delves deep into the mind of a suicide hotline operator. Set against the backdrop of late-night desperation, the film follows Steven Thomas, portrayed by Josh Stewart, who receives a chilling call from someone claiming to be him. The caller knows deeply personal details only Steven could know and threatens to take their own life within the hour. This grim situation forces Steven into a high-stakes race against time, battling both his own fears and the mounting pressure to uncover the truth before it’s too late.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Judah Lewis as the younger Steven Thomas, August Maturo as Jeff Thomas, Charlene Amoia as Vivian Huxley, Jocelyn Ayanna as Loretta Williams, Nicole Santiago as Cindy, Jill Awbrey as Claire Thomas, and Brecken Merrill as the young Steven Thomas.
Lifeline, written by Brady Morell and Brian Price, is a gripping exploration of self and identity. Alongside Alfuqaha, Leal Naim also produces the film. Lifeline is set for release by Dark Sky Films in theaters and digitally on February 21, 2025.
