Dread has unveiled the trailer for A Knight’s War, a dark medieval fantasy film that follows a knight on a perilous mission to save a chosen one’s soul. The movie is set to make its limited theatrical debut on February 7, 2025, before transitioning to VOD on February 11.
The official synopsis promises a gripping adventure: “A fearless knight braves a deadly realm to save the Chosen One’s soul. Facing witches, demons, and brutal foes, he discovers her return could ignite chaos and doom humanity.”
Starring Jeremy Ninaber and Kristen Kaster
The trailer introduces the film’s central characters, Bhodie, played by Jeremy Ninaber, and Avalon, portrayed by Kristen Kaster. Other key cast members include Matthew Ninaber as William, Kristen MacCulloch as Malenor, Ariel Gerard as Hope, Raechel Fisher as Lilith, Sasha Ormond as Isem, and several others.
From the Team Behind Death Valley and Transference
Written and directed by Matthew Ninaber, known for his work on Death Valley, Transference, and Extraction Day, A Knight’s War marks the latest collaboration between the Ninaber brothers. Matthew also serves as the producer of the film. Patrick Ewald of Epic Pictures executive produces the project, having previously worked with the Ninabers on several films.
