First Look: ‘Silent Partners’ Trailer Unveiled

The first trailer for Silent Partners, a gripping new crime drama, has been exclusively revealed by ComingSoon. Directed by Jorge “Jokes” Yanes, the film is inspired by true events from the tumultuous Miami drug wars of the 1980s, promising a thrilling exploration of betrayal, violence, and survival.

The trailer introduces Ciro Dapagio as Valentine, a ruthless hitman desperate to escape his violent past. With no options left, Valentine is forced into a deadly collaboration with former enemies on one final job.

“Inspired by true events during Miami’s drug wars of the 1980s,” the official synopsis explains, “Valentine, a psychotic hitman, realizes his only shot at a free life would mean hijacking the Chicago Outfit’s elaborate insurance scam. Now being forced to work with sworn enemies who have a cop problem of their own, this silent partnership could turn deadly.”

The film features a strong supporting cast, including Antoni Corone as Kofax, Garry Pastore as Fat Dave, Ronnie Marmo as Jerry, Mike Marino as Leo, and James Russo as Franky Cutts.

Produced by Dapagio, Yanes, Paul Grassi, Youshan Zhao, Guillermo Magana, Joe Almeida, Steven Sanders, Robert Webster, Barry Jay Minoff, Cristy Trabadass, Alex Hernandez, and Dave Iacovetti, the movie also boasts a talented team of executive producers, including Dapagio, Grassi, Sanders, Zhao, and Minoff.

The screenplay was penned by Yanes, Dapagio, and J. Bishop. Yanes, known for his previous works such as Eenie Meenie Miney Moe (2013), Bound (2020), and MobKing (2023), brings his signature style to this tense, high-stakes thriller.

Silent Partners is set for release in May 2025 under Breaking Glass Pictures.
