A gripping new Tubi Original thriller, CheckMate, delves into the deadly mind games of a serial killer who uses chess to choose his victims. The film follows Detective Joyce Glenn, portrayed by Joyce Glenn, as she joins forces with her estranged father, a seasoned chess master, to track down the killer before he strikes again.
The cast also features Dorien Wilson of The Parkers, Lorenzo Lamas from Renegade, Andra Fuller of The L.A. Complex, and Sarah Pribis in supporting roles. Directed by Jamal Hill, known for his work on Brotherly Love and Deuces, the film brings intense suspense to the screen, all set in the eerie backdrop of Louisville, Kentucky.
