The highly anticipated trailer for The Eye, marking Shruti Haasan’s international debut, was released on Wednesday, thrilling fans with a glimpse of the psychological thriller. Haasan stars as Diana, a woman caught in a tale of love, loss, and the supernatural, set against the picturesque backdrops of Corfu and Athens.

The film’s plot follows Diana, who is devastated after witnessing her husband’s tragic drowning. Her grief takes a supernatural turn when she uncovers the eerie Evil Eye ritual, which claims to revive the dead. The trailer promises a suspenseful, emotionally charged narrative that delves into the darker sides of human emotion and the supernatural.

The Eye has already gained recognition at the London Independent Film Festival and the Greek International Film Festival. It will premiere in India at the Wench Film Festival, making waves for Haasan as she steps onto the global stage.

On her involvement, Shruti shared, “Psychological thrillers have always fascinated me. It’s exciting to be part of a story that dives deep into grief, emotions, and the supernatural.”

Apart from The Eye, Haasan is gearing up for major Indian films, including Coolie with Rajinikanth, Jana Nayagan with Vijay, and Salaar Part 2 with Prabhas.
