The highly anticipated trailer for Trikala, a psychological thriller with mythological influences, was unveiled at a launch event on Friday, building significant excitement among film enthusiasts. Directed by Mani Thellagutie, the movie features a diverse cast including Shraddha Das, Master Mahendran, Ajay, Sahithi Avancha, Amani, Prabhakar, Ambati Arjun, and Rowdy Rohini in pivotal roles.
The trailer sets the tone with a powerful dialogue by Tanikella Bharani: “The war is for the light of tomorrow… but this dark war of Asura seeks to destroy that light.” The opening hints at a narrative where mythology intertwines with crime, as the protagonist embarks on a vigilante journey. Shraddha Das portrays a psychiatrist tasked with examining the lead character, who grapples with complex psychological struggles.
During the launch event, actor Ajay reflected on his initial encounter with the film’s concept. “Mani Sir shared the story of Trikala with me two or three years ago. I was curious how they’d manage with the budget, but after watching the trailer today, I’m thoroughly impressed. The film looks exceptional,” he commented.
With stunning cinematography by Pawan Chennna, an evocative musical score by Shazith Humayun and Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and extensive visual effects, Trikala promises to deliver an immersive cinematic experience. Set to release in April as a summer special, the film is poised for a wide-scale debut, drawing attention for its unique blend of mythology, thriller elements, and cutting-edge visual artistry.
