Jason Statham Returns in Action-Packed ‘A Working Man’ Trailer

by Chris Davies

Amazon MGM Studios has released a thrilling new trailer for A Working Man, an action-packed film starring Jason Statham as a former black ops agent who returns to his violent roots in a bid to save a kidnapped teenage girl. The film also features notable performances from Michael Peña, David Harbour, and Jason Flemyng.

In A Working Man, Statham plays Levon Cade, a retired black ops operative now working in construction. However, his quiet life is shattered when a teenage girl is abducted by human traffickers. Cade is forced to come out of retirement and unleash his lethal skills to rescue her. The gripping trailer hints at the relentless action and intense drama that fans can expect.

Directed by David Ayer, best known for his work on Suicide Squad (2016) and The Beekeeper, A Working Man promises more of the director’s signature high-octane, vengeful storytelling. Ayer’s The Beekeeper, released in January 2024, also starred Statham as a retired special ops agent and went on to earn over $150 million at the global box office—an impressive feat for a January release. Fans of Statham’s action prowess won’t have to wait long for his next adventure, as A Working Man is set for a theatrical release on March 28, 2025.

Written by Ayer and action icon Sylvester Stallone, A Working Man is based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade. The trailer features David Harbour delivering a chilling line: “You killed your way into this, so you’re gonna have to kill your way out of it,” encapsulating the high-stakes, brutal journey Cade must face.

With its intense action, powerful performances, and a revenge-driven plot, A Working Man is shaping up to be another must-see thriller for fans of Statham and Ayer’s dynamic filmmaking.
