‘The Death of Snow White’ Trailer Drops

Real Fiction Studios has unveiled the trailer for The Death of Snow White, an upcoming film adaptation that takes a chilling turn on the classic Brothers Grimm fairytale. Slated for release in theaters in March 2025, the independent film will debut alongside Disney’s highly anticipated live-action Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler.

The movie promises a dark fantasy retelling, steeped in horror elements, pushing the boundaries of the original story. According to the film’s synopsis, The Death of Snow White explores a nightmarish version of the tale, featuring a self-mutilating evil queen, dwarves skilled in gruesome killings, and an expanded narrative filled with brutal violence and practical special effects that promise to leave audiences breathless.

The trailer, which dropped recently, offers a glimpse of what’s to come, showcasing a darker, more menacing version of the beloved fairytale. It previews intense battle sequences involving the seven dwarves and sets the stage for a terrifying reimagining of Snow White’s journey.

Directed and written by Jason Brooks, best known for his role as Jason Voorhees in several fan-made Friday the 13th films, The Death of Snow White stars Sanae Loutsis as Snow White, Chelsea Edmunds as the Evil Queen, and Tristan Nokes as the Prince. Other notable cast members include Kelly Tappan as The Good Queen, Tyler McKenna as The King, and Meredith Binder as The Evil Witch. The film’s production team includes executive producer Shawn Loutsis, with Naomi Mechem-Miller, Kody Newton, Kayli Fortun, Charles Bunce, Randy Brians, and Steve Barton also on board as producers.
